Field Mouse Meadow

This beautiful wild flower meadow is a haven for nature, a Barn Owl lives at the bottom by the stream and swoops silently at dawn and dusk hunting.  There are Hare, Badgers and Deer who leave tracks and pathways crisscrossing the meadow and Buzzards and Kite who hover and dive dramatically as they hunt across the fields.

The meadow has been cut for hay or been pasture for cows for the last 30 years, now it is transforming into a smallholding with a newly planted orchard, willow bed and 600 native trees.

We will be welcoming a tiny flock of sheep this Summer and hoping to catch our first swarms for the beehives.

One day we will sell honey, wool, willow and fruit.  Today we invite you to come and relax here.
